Hi Y'all,

I recently connected with Krystal Hill - She's over podcasting at a brand called Black Love.

If you're wondering why that sounds familiar it's because you probably have seen their podcasts everywhere. They've amassed over 2.5 million organic downloads.

In this episode we spoke about the value of podcast networks...not just for large organizations but how Creators like You and I could leverage the idea of networks to grow our podcast.

I also asked Krystal if she thought the only way to grow a podcast in 2023 was to use video and her answer left me speechless!

If you're a podcaster, this episode is for you. We dive into the nitty gritty by talking about some of the practical ways you can grow your show but we also take a step back and give you the roadmap to leverage all of your friend's podcasts to grow your show.

I def want to hear your perspective.

Have an awesome week!

📱Updates

🗣️ I'll be speaking at Afros & Audio, a podcast conference in Baltimore. It will be taking place on October 22nd, if you haven't bought your ticket I may have a discounted ticket. Just reply to this email and let me know. This year it's in Baltimore.

🎙️ Blk Pod Fest is a podcast conference in ATL, you should totally check it out. I was at this conference last year when I decided I was going to double down on my creative journey. You can use promo code: BPFPARTNERS23 for 30% OFF.

🍻 I won't be able to do a large gathering for Creators like I originally spoke about, to be honest, I'm too tired and having difficulty paying for it. I am however thinking about doing a smaller Creator happy hour in LA. If you're in LA and would come to something like this just reply to this email and let me know.

👋 BTW - Are there any Creators you'd like to see me interview? Or would you like more solo episodes? Or should I ask Ashley to come thru? How y'all feeling? What type of content do you want over the last few months of the year?
